  • Holy Cross Parish is always looking for musically gifted people to join our choir or to serve as a cantor at Mass.

  • St. Bernard, Middleton

    The St. Bernard Adult Choir, open to singers of high-school age and above, leads the assembly and sings traditional SATB sacred music for the 10:00 Sunday Mass, Holy Days, and Feasts.

    Rehearsals: Wednesdays (September–May), 6:30–8:00 PM, St. Bernard choir rehearsal room.

  • St. Francis Xavier, Cross Plains

    The St. Francis Xavier Adult Choir, open to adults only, sings in a variety of styles ranging from classical and traditional to contemporary, in unison, SAB, or SATB. The choir sings for the 10:30 AM Mass on the third and fourth Sundays of the month, Christmas Day Mass, Holy Week liturgies, and funerals. 

    Rehearsals: Tuesdays (September–mid-May), 3:30–5:00 PM, St. Francis Xavier choir loft.

    The St. Francis Xavier Contemporary Choir, open to singers of high-school age and above, draws from a wide array of music from traditional to contemporary. The choir sings for the 10:30 AM Mass on the first Sunday of the month, and Easter Sunday. Members who wish to sing for Christmas Day Mass or Holy Week liturgies also attend the Adult Choir rehearsals on Tuesdays, 3:30–5:00 PM.

    Rehearsals: Last Monday of the month (October–May), 6:30–7:30 PM, St. Francis Xavier choir loft.

    The St. Francis Xavier Youth Choir, open to children from 2nd through 8th grades, sings for the 10:30 AM Mass on the second Sunday of the month, and Christmas Vigil Mass. 

    Rehearsals: First Monday of the month (October–May), 6:30–7:30pm, St. Francis Xavier choir loft.

  • St. Martin of Tours, Martinsville

    St. Martin of Tours does not currently have a choir; however, interested singers are encouraged to inquire about becoming psalmists and cantors. The music sung at St. Martin is simple English chant and hymns.

  • St. Mary, Pine Bluff

    Website: Sacred Music at Holy Cross: St. Mary

    The St. Mary 8:00 AM Choir, open to adults and qualified middle- and high-schoolers, and sings Gregorian chant and three-part a cappella music of the Renaissance and modern eras for the Traditional Latin Sung Mass on Sundays; Christmas Midnight Mass; Christmas Mass at Dawn; Palm Sunday (7:30 AM); the Easter Triduum; and other feasts throughout the year.

    Rehearsals: Mondays (year-round), 6:30–8:00 PM, St. Mary choir loft; Sundays, 7:30–7:50 AM, St. Mary narthex basement.

    The St. Mary 10:00 AM Choir, open to adults and qualified middle- and high-schoolers, sings English-language plainsong, simple Latin chants, and hymns for the Novus Ordo Mass on Sundays and the Christmas Day Mass. Historically this choir also has sung an extensive repertoire of SATB sacred music from the Renaissance to the modern era.

    Rehearsals: Thursdays (year-round), 6:30–8:00 PM, St. Mary choir loft; Sundays, 9:30–9:50 AM, St. Mary narthex basement.

  • St. Peter, Ashton

    The St. Peter Choir, open to adults and qualified middle- and high-schoolers, sings English-language plainsong, Latin chants, hymns, and SAB a cappella motets. The choir sings twice monthly at the 9:30 AM Mass and at Holy Days and Feasts.

    Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 PM, St. Peter Choir Loft
